UNIZIK Admission Screening Formula for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) wishes to inform the University community and the general public that the Post-UTME, Direct Entry, and other relevant screening examinations for the 2025/2026 admission exercise will be conducted using an automated O’level and UTME results grading system.
Important Notice
- Candidates are advised to visit JAMB-accredited CBT Centres or JAMB Offices to upload their O’level result(s) to the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Do not use regular or non-accredited cyber cafés for uploading results.
- To avoid disqualification, candidates must ensure they upload the same O’level result(s) to both JAMB CAPS and the UNIZIK Portal.
Screening Formula
Ratio of Scores
- UTME Score: 70%
- O’level Score: 30%
(70/100 = 0.7, 30/100 = 0.3)
Ranking of O’level Results
- A1 = 90
- B2 = 80
- B3 = 70
- C4 = 60
- C5 = 55
- C6 = 50
- D7, E8, F9 = 0
- Awaiting Result (AR) = 0
Only the four subjects written in UTME will be considered from the candidate’s O’level results.
Bonus Points
- Single sitting (all four subjects credited): +10 points
- Two sittings: No bonus
Calculation Formula
Final Score = (UTME Score × 0.7) + {(O’level Score + Bonus) × 0.3}

A candidate scored 285 in UTME and obtained the following O’level results:
