University of Sheffield 2026 Undergraduate Merit Scholarship. The University of Sheffield Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2026 offers international students a prestigious opportunity to pursue their undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom. Each award is valued at £10,000, applied towards tuition fees for degree programmes beginning in autumn 2026.

These scholarships are granted to outstanding applicants who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to their chosen field of study.


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the University of Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Hold an offer to study a full-time undergraduate programme at the University of Sheffield beginning in autumn 2026.
  • Be classified as an overseas (international) student for tuition fee purposes.
  • Be self-funded and not sponsored by an external organisation.
  • Enter a degree programme at the University in Year 1 or Year 2.
  • Apply to an eligible undergraduate course. (Note: Medicine [A100/A101] and Dentistry [A200] are excluded.)
  • Understand that MArch programmes are treated as postgraduate taught programmes and are not eligible for this scholarship.

The University of Sheffield reserves the right to review and modify the scholarship offering as necessary.
