University of Agriculture Science and Technology Benue Pre-Science/Remedial Science Admission for 2025/2026; The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Benue State, established in 2024 and licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2025, has announced the commencement of admission into its one-year Pre-Science/Remedial Science Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The institution was founded with a mandate to provide polymathic education across diverse fields including Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sciences, Computing, Innovation, Technology, Engineering, Medical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Allied Health Sciences.
Schools Available for the Pre-Science/Remedial Programme
Successful candidates who complete the programme will gain admission into Bachelor’s degree programmes under the following schools:

Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess at least four (4) O’Level credit passes in any of the following examinations: WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, or equivalent. The compulsory subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics/Further Mathematics
- Chemistry/Physics
- Biology/Agricultural Science
