Uniuyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) ND/HND Nursing Admission Form 2025/2026. The College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has officially opened its admission process for suitably qualified candidates into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This announcement was issued by the Office of the Registrar, inviting interested applicants who are passionate about pursuing a career in Nursing Sciences to seize this opportunity to study at one of Nigeria’s most reputable health training institutions.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for admission into the ND or HND Nursing programmes at UUTH, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- UTME Requirement:
Candidates must have taken part in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 170 marks. - Age Requirement:
Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before November 30, 2025. - O’Level Requirement:
Candidates must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects—English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or SSCE.
Qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early to avoid missing the deadline. The College emphasizes that Nursing is a rigorous yet highly respected profession, requiring academic dedication, discipline, and a genuine commitment to health care.
Method of Application
Interested and eligible candidates are to obtain the application form upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000) only.
All payments must be made directly to the Bursary Department of the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
Upon obtaining the form, applicants are to submit it along with the following documents:
- Three (3) recent colored passport photographs.
- Photocopies of all academic credentials.
- JAMB result slip showing the candidate’s UTME score.
Application Timeline:
- Opening Date: Monday, 3rd November, 2025
- Closing Date: Friday, 14th November, 2025
Applicants are advised to complete and submit their forms within the stipulated period, as late applications will not be accepted.
Post-UTME Screening Exercise
The Post-UTME Screening Examination has been scheduled as follows:
- Date: Monday, 17th November, 2025
- Venue: College Auditorium, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo
- Time: 9:00 a.m. prompt
Candidates must present the following at the screening venue:
- Proof of payment for the application form
- Copy of registration slip
- JAMB printout as evidence of UTME participation
Applicants are expected to arrive early, be neatly dressed, and adhere strictly to all examination guidelines. The use of electronic gadgets or unauthorized materials within the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
