UNIUYO Post UTME & DE Screening Form 2026/2027; The University of Uyo has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for undergraduate admission.
Candidates who selected the University of Uyo as their first choice during the 2026/2027 JAMB UTME and scored at least 150 are eligible to apply. Direct Entry candidates who also chose the university as first choice are equally invited for screening.
The application process is carried out through the official university admissions portal.
Who is eligible for UNIUYO Post UTME screening?
Eligible UTME candidates must:
- Choose University of Uyo as first choice
- Sit for the 2026/2027 JAMB UTME
- Score at least 150
- Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026
- Complete online screening registration before the deadline
Only candidates who meet the age requirement (16 years or older by 30 September 2026) will be considered.
Who is eligible for Direct Entry screening?
Direct Entry candidates must:
- Have selected UNIUYO as first choice in the 2026/2027 JAMB Direct Entry application
- Possess a relevant higher academic qualification
- Upload a clear copy of their qualification during registration
How much is the UNIUYO screening fee?
- Screening fee: ₦2,000 (non-refundable)
Payment is made through the university portal using the Remita platform after generating a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
How to apply for UNIUYO Post UTME / Direct Entry
1. Account creation
- Visit the UNIUYO admissions portal
- Click “Apply Now”
- Select “Create Account”
- Fill in details and verify your email
2. Payment
- Login to the portal
- Select application type (Post UTME or Direct Entry)
- Generate RRR via Remita
- Pay online or at a bank
- Confirm payment on the portal
3. Application form
- Click “Start New Application”
- Fill in biodata and academic details
- Submit the form carefully
4. Print slip
- Print the 2026/2027 screening acknowledgement slip after submission
Documents and requirements
Applicants must:
- Provide correct biodata and academic records
- Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS not later than 31 August 2026
- Ensure Direct Entry candidates upload higher qualification documents
- Submit biodata only once
- Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026
Candidates should refresh JAMB CAPS after uploading results to confirm updates.
Can candidates with Awaiting Result apply?
Yes. Candidates with Awaiting Result are allowed to apply, but they must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS before the deadline.
Who is exempted from screening?
The following categories are exempted from Post UTME screening:
- Foreign candidates
- Inmates of correctional centres
- Blind candidates
- Deaf candidates
What can lead to disqualification?
Candidates may be disqualified if they:
- Provide incorrect or inconsistent biodata
- Fail to register for the screening exercise (except exempted candidates)
