UNIUYO Opens Hostel Allocation Portal for 2025/2026 Session; The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially announced the opening of its Hostel Allocation Portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to an internal memorandum from the Student Affairs Division, dated October 17, 2025, and signed by Offonmbuk M. Ekwere, Principal Assistant Registrar (Accommodation Officer), the portal will open officially on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The notice, addressed to the Dean of Students, outlines the approved step-by-step procedures for students who wish to apply for hostel accommodation.
How to Apply for UNIUYO Hostel Allocation
- Visit the Hostel Portal
Go to the official UNIUYO hostel portal: www.uniuyohostels.com - Create an Account
Click on “Register” and fill in the required details to create your hostel account. Ensure that your profile image is correctly uploaded. - Apply for Hostel
After logging in, click on “Apply for Hostel” from your dashboard. Then, select your preferred hostel category:- Regular Hostels: All halls except NEEDS Hall I and New NDDC
- Executive Hostels: NEEDS Hall I, New NDDC, and NDDC Medical Hostel
- Check for Allocation Notification
Successful applicants will receive an email notification once their hostel bed space has been allocated. - Proceed with Payment and Documentation
After receiving the allocation email, students must pay for the assigned bed space and report to the hostel management for documentation.
