UniUyo Begins Physical Screening for New Students in the Faculty of Biological Sciences; The Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially announced the commencement of its screening exercise for candidates admitted into the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement released by the Faculty Secretariat on November 7, 2025, the screening is open to all newly admitted students under the Faculty. The departments included under the Faculty of Biological Sciences are:
- Animal and Environmental Biology
- Biochemistry
- Botany and Ecological Studies
- Microbiology
Required Documents for Screening
All candidates are expected to present the following documents during the screening exercise:
- Online Acceptance Fee Receipt, duly signed by the Faculty’s Bursar
- JAMB and UNIUYO Admission Letters
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’level Examination Result (WAEC/NECO) – both the original certificate and online printout
Candidates are also reminded that decent dressing is mandatory during the screening exercise.
The announcement, signed by Comr. Ekemini Bassey, Secretary General of the Faculty Secretariat, congratulated all admitted students and encouraged strict compliance with the screening guidelines.
