Uniport Releases Basic Studies Admission For 2023/2024 Session
Admission Requirements:
Candidates seeking admission into the Basic Studies Programme must possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings in WASSC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be admitted into year one for their chosen courses.

Course Duration:
The Basic Studies Programme is for a period of one year, equivalent to one academic session.
Application:
Online application will commence from Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Method of Application:
Application is done online by visiting the University’s official website at www.uniport.edu.ng and following the instructions provided. A fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00), excluding Bank charges, is required for the application.
Payment can be made at designated Banks nationwide. The name provided during the online application must match the name on the candidate’s O’Level Certificates. Providing false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
Applicants must have a functional phone number and email address for further communication from the School and should regularly check the University website for updates.

Registration details for successful candidates will be announced in due course.
Note:
Upon completion of the Basic Studies Programme, successful candidates must attain the national minimum score in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have chosen the University of Port Harcourt as their first choice to transition to year one.
