UNIPORT Post-UTME 2025 Screening Form/ Eligibility/ Cut-Off Mark and Registration Details; The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) invites all candidates who selected the University as their First Choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 150, to apply for the 2025 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Online Registration Period
- Start Date: Friday, 11th July 2025
- Closing Date: Friday, 18th July 2025
All candidates are required to visit the official university website at www.uniport.edu.ng to complete their registration during the specified period.
Step-by-Step Registration Procedure
- Log on to www.uniport.edu.ng and follow the registration instructions.
- Input your UTME Registration Number and confirm your pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate a Remita Code for payment and proceed with either of the two options:
- Make payment online using your MasterCard, Visa, Verve Card, etc.
- Or, print the Payment Slip and pay the sum of N2,000.00 at any of the listed banks with Remita platform:
- Access Bank PLC
- Ecobank PLC
- Fidelity Bank PLC
- First Bank PLC
- FCMB
- UBA PLC
- UNIPORT-Choba Microfinance Bank
- Obtain a Remita Receipt showing an Access Code from the bank teller after payment.
- Return online and log in using your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code (available from Monday, 14th July 2025).
- Fill out the online form as required. Candidates awaiting their O’Level results must clearly indicate this.
- Click the submit button, then print out the Registration Slip for the screening exercise.
Post-UTME Screening Schedule
The date, venue, and full schedule for the 2025 screening exercise will be announced in due course on the UNIPORT website. Candidates are strongly advised to check the site regularly for updates.
Important Information to Note
- Deadline: Candidates must complete their registration before midnight on Friday, 18th July 2025. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Disqualification Warning: Inconsistencies in names or photographs on registration slips may lead to disqualification. Names on UTME results, O’Level certificates, and registration documents must match.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age by October 2025 to be eligible.
- Devices such as mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the screening venues.
- Registration is strictly online. Candidates are not required to be physically present on campus during registration.
- Candidates who selected UNIPORT as Second Choice must first change to UNIPORT as their First Choice before registering.
- All candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal. Failure to do so will result in being disqualified from admission consideration.
- Use only valid personal email addresses and GSM numbers for registration.
- Once the screening is scheduled, candidates must appear at their designated venues on the assigned date or risk disqualification.
- Parents, guardians, and security personnel not officially invited will not be allowed entry into the campus on screening days.
