UNIPORT IITD Releases 2022/2023 Graduate Programmes; Applications are solicited from adequately qualified applicants for admission to the following Graduate Programmes at the University of Port Harcourt’s Institute of International Trade and Development:

i. Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in International Trade and Development.
ii. Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree in International Trade and Development
iii. Ph.d programme in Trade and Development Finance.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
- PGD Programme: Candidates must have a good honours degree from a recognized university in any of the following fields: Economics, Political Science, Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, History, Geography, or a related field, or Law with a minimum of 3rd Class Honours. Higher National Diploma (HND) holders with a minimum of Upper Credit from accredited institutions are also eligible for admission.
- M.Sc Programme: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with Second Class Honours from a recognized institution in Economics, Political Science, Finance, Foreign Languages, Accounting, History, Marketing, Management, Geography, or a related discipline or Law. Candidates with at least five years of work experience in a trade-related industry and degrees from fields other than those listed above may be considered for admission to the program. A cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.00 on a five (5) point scale from the University of Port Harcourt or other institutions recognized by the Senate.
- Ph.D Programme: Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in International Trade and Development from the Institute and have a CGPA of at least 4.00. Applicants with M.Sc degrees in Economics, Marketing, Management, Accounting, International Finance, International Relations, or Mathematics with a CGPA of 4.00 will be considered for admission.
DURATION OF PROGRAMME
The duration of the Programme for PGD and M.Sc is 12 calendar months. The time for the Ph.D is a minimum of 24 calendar months and a maximum of 60 calendar months.
