UNIPORT Appoints Three New Deputy Vice-Chancellors; The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has announced the appointment of three new Deputy Vice-Chancellors (DVCs), marking a significant development in its leadership structure. The appointments were confirmed during the 488th Extraordinary Meeting of the University Senate, held today.

The newly appointed DVCs are as follows:
- Professor Chukwudi Onyeasor has been appointed as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), succeeding his predecessor after the successful completion of their tenure.
- Professor Rosemary Ogu has been elected as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). Her appointment comes in recognition of her distinguished service to the university and the wider academic community.
- Professor Angela Frank-Briggs has also been appointed as a Deputy Vice-Chancellor, with her specific portfolio expected to be officially confirmed in the coming days.

These appointments are part of the university’s standard leadership transition process, designed to ensure continuity, excellence, and effective governance across all administrative and academic operations.
