UNIPORT Announces Sale of Admission Forms for 2024/2025 & 2025/2026 Sandwich Degree Programmes; The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Faculty of Education, School of Sandwich Programmes, has officially announced the commencement of the sale of admission forms for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 Academic Sessions. The forms are available for candidates seeking admission into the Post-NCE and Post-SSC Sandwich Degree Programmes.
According to the notice released by the institution, all interested and qualified applicants are invited to obtain the admission forms at the designated location.

The following programmes are available under the UNIPORT Sandwich Degree options:
- Educational Foundations / Arts
- Educational Management / Social Studies / Business Education
- Educational Curriculum, Science Education & Educational Technology
- Educational Psychology, Guidance & Counselling
- Sport & Exercise Science / Health Promotion, Environmental & Safety Education
- Adult & Non-Formal Education
- Library Science and Information Technology
- Early Childhood and Primary Education
Note: Post-SSC graduates are eligible for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the Sandwich programmes must meet the following requirements:
1. O’Level Credits
Applicants must possess five (5) O’Level credits (SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE) or their equivalents, including:
- English Language (Credit)
- Mathematics (Credit)
- Three additional relevant subjects related to the chosen teaching subject area
2. University Certificate Holders
Candidates with a credit pass in the University of Port Harcourt Certificate Programme or from any recognized university are eligible.
3. HND/Degree Holders
Applicants with HND or Degree qualifications outside Education will be admitted into a two-year programme, provided they take and pass all compulsory education courses, GES courses, and Teaching Practice exercises tenable in Year 1 and Year 2.
4. OND Holders
Candidates with OND qualifications will be admitted into a three-year programme, provided they take and pass all compulsory education courses, GES courses, and Teaching Practice exercises tenable in Year 1 and Year 2.
5. NCE Merit Pass
Candidates with a Merit Pass in NCE will be admitted into the Post-NCE programme.
