UNIMED Releases 2023/2024 Pre-Degree Admission Form; Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo Pre-Degree Programme.

This intensive programme is designed to prepare candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)/Post-UTME and eventual admission into 100 level degree programmes at UNIMED and other universities of their choice.
UNIMED Releases 2023/2024 Pre-Degree Admission Form
The programme will run for one academic session, from December 2023 to August 2024.
2.0 Admission Requirements:
a. Candidates must have credit passes in at least five (5) subjects, namely Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at SSCE/GCE/NECO in not more than two (2) sittings. Medicine and Dentistry require only one (1) sitting.

b. Candidates who meet the admission requirements will be admitted into the Pre-degree programme.
The offered subjects are:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
3.0 Qualification for 100 Level Admission into UNIMED:
Candidates are expected to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attain the minimum cut-off mark for University admission. They must also adhere to the Post-UTME requirements. Additionally, candidates are expected to perform well in the first and second semester examinations. This achievement will positively impact their performance in the UTME and Post-UTME.
Successful candidates are eligible for allocation to 100 level courses in related Faculties/Departments, including Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Herbal Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, and Mathematics Sciences.

Eligible candidates should visit the University website at www.unimed.edu.ng and follow these steps:
i. Click on “Students”
ii. Click on “PRE-DEGREE” to access the Pre-Degree Portal
iii. Click on payment via online payment system using VISA or MASTER Card (Note: VERVE Card is not accepted)
iv. Follow the instructions to make a payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) only
v. After successful payment, note the Application Form Number and Print Payment Receipt
vi. On the PRE-DEGREE PORTAL, click on “APPLICATION FORM/LOG IN” and use the generated PRE-DEGREE Application Form Number and Payment Transaction ID to access and complete the application form
5.0 Closing Date:
The application will close six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.
