UNIMED Releases 2022/2023 Bs.c Conversion Program; With the goal of fostering excellence in teaching, research, and service delivery across all health science disciplines, the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo City, Ondo State, is the first specialized Nigerian University of Medical Sciences. It was founded in 2014.
Since its founding, the University has carved out a special place for itself as one of the few public universities with an exceptionally high standard of educational delivery and a stable, uninterrupted academic calendar.
The University hereby invites all qualified applicants to submit an application for admission to the following special academic programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate disciplines for the 2022–2023 academic session:

1. B.Sc. CONVERSION PROGRAMMES (Duration: 6 Semesters)
The B.Sc. Conversion Programs are designed to give graduates the opportunity to enroll in University degree programs, which will increase their chances of finding employment and advancing their careers. The following courses will be included in this program:
i. Community Health Science
ii. Environmental Health Science
iii. Health Information Management System
iv. Biological Sciences (Microbiology, Animal & Environmental Biology, Plant Biology and Biotechnology)
v. Chemistry
vi. Physics
vii. Computer Science
viii. Science Laboratory Technology
viii. Prosthetic and Orthotics
Eligibility for B.Sc. Conversion Programme
Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in SSCE/NECO.
a. Holders of Higher National Diploma in relevant discipline or
b. Holders of relevant professional certificates that are recognized as HND equivalent
In addition, the candidate MUST have NYSC Discharge Certificate or NYSC Exemption Certificate
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Eligible candidates should log on to the University website www.unimed.edu.ng . Then, take the following steps: i
i. Click on Admission;
ii. Click on Undergraduate and Postgraduate Diploma;
iii. Click on PAYMENT to make payment via the online payment system using visa or MASTER Card. Note that VERVE Card is not allowed;
iv. After payment, Print Payment Receipt
v. Click on the APPLICATION FORM with your Payment Transaction ID to complete the form.
