UNILORIN Pre-Degree / Remedial Admission Form 2025/2026. The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has commenced admissions into its Remedial (Pre-Degree) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is a second-chance opportunity for students looking to secure admission into 100 Level through a structured one-year academic preparation.
Programme Overview
The Remedial Programme runs at the School of Preliminary Studies (SPS), Fufu Campus, starting in October 2025. Candidates who successfully complete the programme and meet all requirements will be considered for admission into 100 Level of their chosen degree programmes.
Notably, the top 30 students from the final SPS examinations may be offered admission into highly competitive courses such as:
- Nursing
- Pharmacy
- Physiotherapy
- Optometry
- Accounting
- Economics
(Please note: MBBS and Law are excluded from this route.)
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible:
- You must have at least three (3) O’Level credit passes (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) in relevant subjects. The remaining credits must be obtained before undergraduate admission.
- You must sit for the 2025 JAMB UTME and meet the university’s cut-off mark.
- Admission through this programme is valid for two academic sessions, allowing for one additional attempt if needed.
