UNILORIN Hostel Allocation for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Student Affairs Unit has officially announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 hostel allocation exercise for university-owned hostels.
According to a bulletin signed by the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Alex Akanmu, the entire allocation process will be conducted online through students’ portals.
UNILORIN Hostel Allocation Schedule
The bulletin outlined the timetable for hostel bed space allocation as follows:
- Returning Students: Hostel ballot opens on Friday, October 3, 2025.
- Fresh Students: Hostel ballot opens on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Requirements for Hostel Allocation
To qualify for hostel accommodation, students must:
- Complete the payment of all University Charges before applying for a hostel bed space.
- Adhere strictly to the university’s hostel allocation guidelines.
The management emphasized that bed spaces are neither transferable nor for sale, and students are warned against engaging in any unauthorized transactions.
