UNILAG Management Confirms No Increase in Hostel Accommodation Fees; The Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that there will be no increase in hostel accommodation fees for students.
In an official statement, the University clarified that all Faculty and Departmental dues—now consolidated into a single central payment portal—have also been reviewed downward and fully implemented. With this arrangement, students will no longer make multiple payments at faculty or departmental levels during the semester.
However, Student Association dues (Faculty and Departmental Associations) will still be collected at the various faculties during freshers’ screening exercises.

The University emphasized that the newly streamlined payment system is designed to make transactions easier, more transparent, and more affordable for students.
Students are strongly advised to complete their course registration on time to qualify for the upcoming hostel accommodation balloting exercise, which will begin soon.
