UNILAG Direct Entry Registration for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that the online registration for Direct Entry (DE) admission into all undergraduate programmes/courses for the 2025/2026 academic session will take place from Monday, September 22, to Friday, October 3, 2025.
Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates are required to follow the steps below via the UNILAG official website:
- Click on 2025/2026 Direct Entry (DE) Application on the welcome pop-up.
- Log in using your Direct Entry Application Number as username and your surname in lowercase as password.
- Generate and print a payment advice.
- Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment, or pay online.
- Return to the portal and click Continue Application to complete the screening form.
- Upload relevant results, which may include:
- First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level, NCE, MUSON DIP, ABRSM, Trinity College London, Baccalaureate, DELF/DALF, NFLV DIP, O’level, etc.
- Click Preview to verify correctness of data supplied.
- Click Submit.
- Print your Direct Entry e-registration slip.
- Submit the printed slip and credentials at the Admission Office (1st Floor, Room 174, Senate Building) from Monday, September 22 to Friday, October 3, 2025.
Application Fee: ₦3,500
Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates must have made the University of Lagos their first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB Direct Entry application.
- Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
- Personal details (Name, Date of Birth, State of Origin, LGA, etc.) must be consistent across all documents/results.
- Candidates who fail to participate in the online registration will not be considered for admission.
- Former students of UNILAG whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor performance or absence status may reapply, provided the new admission is for a different programme/course.
- Students previously expelled from the University are not eligible for re-admission.
Important Notice on Drug Policy
The University maintains a zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse. Any newly admitted student who tests positive for drug use, whether before or after registration, will have their admission immediately withdrawn.
