UNILAG Announces Admission into Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy (tDPT) Programme for 2025/2026; The College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL) invites qualified candidates to apply for the Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy (tDPT) programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
About the Programme
The tDPT programme is an executive, specialized, and structured Distance Learning Programme (DLP) designed for licensed and practicing physiotherapists in both public and private sectors. It combines online and weekend onsite lectures (hybrid format), providing flexibility for professionals.
The programme is open to physiotherapists within and outside Nigeria and will run for a minimum of four semesters (two academic sessions).
Admission Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a licensed Physiotherapist registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board (MRTB).
- Must hold any of the following degrees (or equivalent):
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physiotherapy
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B. Physiotherapy)
- Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (BMR) in Physiotherapy
- Eligible candidates will be admitted into the DPT degree programme at 500 Level of study.
- Must meet the minimum entry requirements of the University of Lagos, including at least five (5) credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English Language in SSCE/GCE O’ Level or equivalent, obtained at not more than two sittings.
- All applicants will be required to undergo a screening exercise before admission.

- Application Fee: ₦50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira only).
- Application Period: Three (3) weeks from the date of this advertisement.
