Entry Requirements
Candidates must have 3 to 5 ‘O’ LEVEL Credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE or equivalent, including:
- Mathematics or Further Mathematics
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Physics
- One of the following: Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Technical Drawing, or Fine Art
Method of Application
The sale of application forms has commenced and is available online via the University website: portal.unijos.edu.ng until 30th September 2024. Lectures will begin on 2nd October 2024.
Programme Details
The Pre-Degree Science Course is designed for students interested in pursuing degrees in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Science Education, Medical Lab Science (MLS), Biochemistry, Science Lab Technology (SLT), Computer Science, Engineering, Agriculture, or other science disciplines.
Automatic placement into University of Jos Degree programmes is available for participants who:
- Obtain a minimum of 40% in each subject taken
- Attend at least 75% of lectures and laboratory sessions
- Choose the University of Jos as their first choice in JAMB/UTME and meet the university’s cut-off mark (which may vary each academic year)
Charges for 2024/2025 Academic Year
- Acceptance Fee: ₦30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira Only)
- School Fee: ₦70,000 (Seventy Thousand Naira Only)
- Total Charges: ₦100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira Only)
