UNICAL Cancels Post-UTME Aptitude Test for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has officially announced the cancellation of its Post-UTME aptitude test for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a statement signed by the University Registrar, Dr. Mrs. Chukwuka Icha, the institution confirmed that the Post-UTME registration portal has now been closed. Instead of the aptitude test, candidates will be screened using their O’Level results via the Point Tally System.
Why the Aptitude Test Was Cancelled
According to the Registrar, the decision to cancel the Post-UTME aptitude test was made in consideration of the challenges candidates may face traveling to the university for the screening exercise.
