UNICAL Announces Resumption Date for 2025/2026. The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has officially announced the resumption dates for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a release signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Chukwuka Icha, the schedule is as follows:
- New Students: Expected to arrive on campus on Monday, September 29, 2025. Screening and registration will commence the next day, Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
- Returning Students: Expected on campus from Thursday, October 2, 2025, with registration beginning immediately.
- Lectures: For all categories of students, lectures will begin on Monday, October 6, 2025.
- Late Registration: Runs from Thursday, October 13 to Friday, October 14, 2025, and will close on Wednesday, October 19, 2025.
- Examinations: Supplementary examinations will be held between Monday, November 3 and Friday, November 7, 2025, while summer examinations are scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
The release further advised all students to comply strictly with the revised academic calendar.
