UNICAL Announces Interdenominational Service for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced that its interdenominational service for the 2025/2026 academic session will hold on Monday, 10th November 2025. The service is scheduled to take place at the Senator Godswill Akpabio International Conference Centre, University of Calabar, beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m.
In a memo signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, the Vice-Chancellor directed that all lectures scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on that day be rescheduled to allow both staff and students to participate fully in the service.
Participation Guidelines
Members of the university community, including staff and students, are encouraged to:
- Attend the service in their UNICAL fabrics to add colour and vibrancy to the event.
- Be punctual to ensure full participation.
The Registrar extended warm wishes to all members of the university community for a spirit-filled and meaningful experience.
