UNICAL Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the screening exercise are advised to proceed to check if their names appear on the provisional admission list of successful candidates.
How to Check UNICAL Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
The admission list has been uploaded online via JAMB CAPS. Follow the steps below to check your status:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
- Click on Check Admission Status.
- Click on Access My CAPS.
- Select Admission Status to see if you have been offered admission.
- If you have been admitted, your photo image and a congratulatory message will be displayed.
- If you are not yet admitted, you will see the response: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting UNICAL Admission on JAMB CAPS
- If offered admission, you can Accept or Reject the admission by sending:
- ACCEPT or REJECT as SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Candidates have 4 weeks to accept the offer of admission.
- Those who no longer have access to their registered phone numbers are to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to Accept or Reject the admission.
Important Notes for Candidates
- After accepting the admission, candidates should print their admission letter from the JAMB portal, as it will be required during clearance and registration at UNICAL.
- If you are using a mobile phone, you may not see the complete admission status options on CAPS. Switch your browser to Desktop Mode for the full view. Using Google Chrome is recommended:
- Go to Chrome settings → Select Request Desktop Site → Reload the page.
