Every year, many students aspire to secure admission into universities, and UNIBEN is set to commence its screening process. Understanding the details of this process is essential for candidates to prepare adequately.

Eligibility for UNIBEN Post UTME:

  • UTME Requirement: Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME admission are eligible.
  • First Choice: Applicants must have chosen UNIBEN as their first choice.
  • Minimum Score: A score of 200 and above in UTME is required for eligibility.
  • O’Level Requirements: At least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent are necessary, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects, not exceeding two sittings.
  • Email Account: Candidates must have a valid e-mail account before starting the application.

Step-by-Step Application Process:

  1. Timeframe:
    • Applications are open from 8.00 a.m. on Friday, 16th August 2024, until midnight on Friday, 13th September 2024.
  2. Starting Point:
  3. Student Portal:
    • Navigate to the ‘Student Portal’ and click on the  WAEUP Portal.
  4. Registration:
    • Click on ‘Register for application’ at the top left corner.
    • Enter your surname and JAMB Registration number to get your ID and password.
  5. Login and Application:
    • Use your username and password to log into the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal.
    • Click on ‘Application record’ to provide all necessary information and upload your passport photograph.
  6. Photo Specifications:
    • A recent “1 x 1” color passport photo with a red background in JPEG format is required. This image will serve as the ID for admitted students at UNIBEN.
  7. Payment:
    • The application fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).
    • Payment can be made at any commercial bank in Nigeria using an ATM-enabled card. Follow on-screen instructions after selecting “pay via Remita.”
  8. Finalise Application:
    • Before submitting, ensure all information is accurate. No corrections are allowed after the application deadline.
  9. Print Documents:
    • After submitting the application, return online on the specified date to print the acknowledgment and screening invitation slips.

Screening Details and Course Groupings:

  • Screening Exercise: The Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2024/2025 is scheduled from Monday, 7th October 2024, to Saturday, 12th October 2024.
  • Location: The screening will occur at designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus.
  • Method: The screening will use the Computer Based Test (CBT) method.
  • Arrival: Candidates must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled screening time.
  • Check Schedule: Return online on 27th September 2024 to print the acknowledgment slip with your specific screening schedule.
