UNIBEN Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening Exercise for 2025/2026; The University of Benin (UNIBEN) will conduct its Post-UTME (PUTME) and Post Direct Entry (PUDE) Admission Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session from Monday, 1st September 2025 to Saturday, 6th September 2025. The screening will take place at designated centers within the Ugbowo Campus of the University.

UNIBEN Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility, and Registration Details
The screening exercise will be conducted using a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Eligibility Criteria:
- Only candidates who applied through JAMB UTME or Direct Entry for the 2025/2026 session, chose University of Benin as their First Choice, and scored 200 or above (for UTME candidates) are eligible.
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent. The credits must include English Language and Mathematics (for courses requiring mathematics) plus three other relevant subjects (or four relevant subjects excluding mathematics). The credits must be from not more than two sittings.
- Candidates are advised to have a valid email account before beginning the application process.
How to Apply:
All applications must be completed between 8:00 a.m. Monday, 4th August 2025 and midnight Friday, 22nd August 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
Steps to apply:
- Visit the official UNIBEN website: http://www.uniben.edu
- Click on the Application Menu.
- Read the instructions and click “Tap Here to proceed”.
- Carefully read the instructions on the next page and click “Begin Application Process” at the bottom.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number, JAMB Score, and set a password.
- Login with your User ID (JAMB Registration Number) and password to begin your application.
- Fill in the required information.
- To pay, click on the “Pay with Remita” button and follow the instructions to pay the screening fee of ₦2,000 (excluding portal access charges) using a valid ATM-enabled card.
- Preview your information and confirm before submitting. No corrections will be accepted after submission.
- Return online on the appointed date to print your acknowledgment slip that contains your specific screening schedule.

- Physical Sciences:
Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Education – Physical Sciences, Technical Education, Statistics (Pure Science option). - Life Sciences:
Medicine, Dentistry, Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Education – Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Home Economics, Veterinary Medicine. - Social Sciences:
Social Sciences, Education – Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Library and Information Science, Guidance and Counseling, Special Education, Adult Education. - Management Sciences:
Management Sciences, Mathematics & Economics, Estate Management, Statistics, Economics. - Arts:
Law, Arts, Education – Arts.
Important Information for Candidates:

- Candidates are expected to check online from Wednesday, 27th August 2025 for their specific date, venue, and time for the screening.
- All candidates must arrive at the screening centre at least one hour before their scheduled time.
- Mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the screening centres.
- Candidates should bring the following on the screening day:
- Acknowledgment slip
- Screening invitation slip containing their screening schedule
Application Deadline
All applications must be completed online by midnight on Friday, 22nd August 2025. Applications and payments made after this deadline will not be accepted and those candidates will be excluded from the screening.
