To qualify for admission to the MPS programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications:
- Five O’ Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- A Bachelor’s Honours degree in any field from a recognised university.
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised institution.
- Other professional qualifications recognised by the University of Abuja.
Programme Duration
The MPS programme offers two intakes:
- November intake (for January admissions)
- June intake (for August admissions)

The application process for the MPS programme includes the following steps:
- Pay the Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000 must be paid via REMITA on the University of Abuja portal.
- Application Steps:
- Visit the University of Abuja Portal.
- Select “International Institute for Publishing Studies” from the list of options.
- Enter your details, including surname, first name, other names, email address, and phone number.
- Click “Next” to generate the RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) for payment.
- Complete the payment using a MasterCard or Visa Card on the REMITA platform.
- After payment, you will be redirected to the portal and a unique application number will be generated.
- Log in with your application number and surname as the password to complete the application form.

The deadline for submitting applications is Sunday, 19th January 2025.
