Eligibility Criteria for UI Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening
Before starting the registration process, ensure you meet the following criteria:
- First Choice Institution: The University of Ibadan must be your first choice in the recent UTME, and you must have scored at least 200.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission. Those younger will need to defer their admission by a year.
- O’Level Requirements:
- For the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, candidates must have five credits in one sitting in relevant O’Level subjects.
- For other programmes, candidates with two O’Level results must have at least six credits in relevant subjects.
- Accepted Qualifications for Direct Entry: UI accepts WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, OND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognized institutions. IJMB and JUPEB are not accepted.
- Direct Entry Credentials: Direct Entry candidates must upload their credentials to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng.

Guide to UI Post-UTME Form Registration
Follow these steps to register for the UI Post-UTME:
- Login to the Admission Portal: Visit the UI Admission Portal and log in using your JAMB Registration Number as your username and your surname as your initial password.
- Payment of Fees:
- Portal Access Fee: N3,000.00
- Screening Fee: N2,000.00
- Payment should be made through the Admission Portal in favour of the University of Ibadan.
- Payment Options:
- Card Payment: Use your credit/debit card.
- Bank Transfer: Use your internet banking tools.
- Bank Branch: Make a cash payment at the bank using the printout from the portal.
- Print Receipt: Ensure you print the payment success receipt.
Post-UTME Screening Schedule
The Post-UTME examination will take place from Monday, 16 September 2024. The exact date for each candidate will be communicated later.
