UI Admission List 2025/2026 Released; The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has officially released the Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement is for all candidates who participated in the 2024/2025 Admission Screening Exercise, as they can now check their admission status.
According to the notice, the list of admitted candidates has been uploaded online via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check UI Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow the steps below to confirm your admission status:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Login with your registered email address and password.
- On your dashboard, click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status.”
- If admitted, your photo image will be displayed along with a congratulatory message.
- If not yet admitted, you will see the message: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Admission
- If you have been offered admission, you can Accept or Reject it by sending:
[Your JAMB Registration Number] [SPACE] ACCEPT or [Your JAMB Registration Number] [SPACE] REJECTSend to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile. - Candidates have 4 weeks to accept their admission offer.
- Those without access to their registered phone numbers must visit a JAMB-accredited centre to Accept or Reject their admission.
Printing Admission Letter
After accepting the admission, candidates are required to:
- Print their JAMB Admission Letter and Result Slip (in colour).
- These documents will be needed during clearance and registration at the University of Ibadan.
Important Note for Mobile Users
- Some phone users may not see the full Admission Status option on CAPS.
- If this happens, switch your browser to Desktop Mode.
- On Chrome, tap the menu option and select “Request Desktop Site.” This will allow the full page to display properly.
