UCH Ibadan School of Health Information 2024/2025 Admission; Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Health Information Management, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan for the 2024/2025 academic session. The programs offered include a Two-Year National Diploma (ND) and a Two-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management. The course is non-residential and will commence in September 2023.

Entry Qualifications
For ND Applicants:
- Candidates must score 150 and above in the 2024 UTME.
- Must have obtained a minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE/GCE/WAEC/NECO at not more than two sittings from the same examination body. The subjects should include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Physics
- Chemistry
For HND Applicants:
- Applicants must present their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES, which include:
- O’ level Result
- National Diploma or Professional Diploma in Health Information Management
- License Certificate
- Letter of completion of Industrial Training (IT)
Entrance Examination
For ND Programme: The Computer Based Test (CBT) will cover:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
For HND Programme: The Computer Based Test (CBT) will cover:
- Health Records Management
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Clinical Coding
- Biostatistics
- Computer Science
- Health Planning Management
Method of Application
Application forms will be available from Monday, 27th May 2024. Follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the UCH Schools’ Portal:
- Go to UCH Schools’ Portal and click the “REMITA PAYMENT” button to make payment.
- Payment and Sign Up:
- After successful payment, sign up using your RRR, email, and password used for the payment.
- Complete Online Application:
- Log in with your email and password to continue the online application.
- Download the “Applicants User Guide” from the portal.
- Input Data and Submit Application:
- Follow the instructions in the Applicants User Guide to input your data and submit your application online.
- Print Application Form:
- Print two copies of your application form and photocard. Bring them to the examination center on the day of the examination.
- Additional Payment:
- Make an additional payment of N500.00 into the Health Information Managers Association of Nigeria, Account No: 0000207307, Union Bank, UCH Branch.
Screening and Interview
The screening exercise for the ND program and the HND entrance examination dates will be communicated to the candidates via their email addresses. Successful applicants will be invited for an oral interview at a later date through text messages and the School’s website.
