UAST Releases 2025/2026 Pre-Degree and Remedial Admission List; The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Ihugh, through the Institute of Foundation and Entrepreneurship Studies (IFES), has officially announced the release of the 2025/2026 Pre-Degree and Remedial Admission List for candidates who applied for the institution’s foundational programmes.
According to the announcement from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, the list of successful applicants has been uploaded to the UAST Admissions Portal. All candidates are expected to check and verify their admission status immediately.
Payment and Verification Procedure
UAST emphasized that all applicants must verify their admission status by paying a non-refundable Admission Status-Check Fee of ₦2,000. Payments are strictly online through Paystack on the official UAST Admissions Portal. No cash or manual payments are accepted.
Steps to Verify Admission Status:
- Visit the UAST Admissions Portal via https://admissions.bsuast.edu.ng/
- Select “Pre-Degree/Remedial Admission Status Check.”
- Enter your Application Number and Full Name.
- Click on “Proceed to Payment.”
- Complete the ₦2,000 payment using any ATM card or supported digital payment option.
- After successful payment, return to the portal to view your admission status.
- Print the Admission Notification Slip, which contains registration guidelines and resumption instructions.
Next Steps for Candidates Offered Provisional Admission
IFES outlined the onboarding procedures for admitted candidates as follows:
- Click “Proceed to Payment” to pay the ₦20,000 Acceptance Fee via Paystack.
- Print the official Acceptance Letter, which includes registration and orientation details.
- Prepare the following required documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport Photographs
- O’Level Credentials
- Application Acknowledgement Slip
- Visit the Takeoff Campus at Ihugh-Korinya Road to collect the official admission letter from the Office of the Registrar.
- Create a student profile using the Admission Number indicated on the Official Letter of Admission (OLA).
- Await the release of the Registration Schedule and User Charges from the Bursary.
Important Warnings
UAST announced that verification and onboarding activities begin immediately from November 19, 2025.
The University strongly warned that any act of falsification, impersonation, or admission forgery will result in automatic withdrawal of admission and possible prosecution.
Applicants are advised to rely solely on official UAST communication channels for all updates and announcements.
