About the Africa Institute Fellowships:
The Africa Institute Research Fellowships Program offers both senior and junior scholars in African and African diaspora studies the opportunity to focus on a research project and participate in ongoing scholarly and intellectual activities during a one-year residency at the Institute.
The program includes senior fellowships named in honor of literary icon Toni Morrison and professor Ali A. Mazrui, along with postdoctoral fellowships named after Okwui Enwezor and Fatema Mernissi. The Africa Institute faculty will review all applications and select recipients based on the quality of their proposal and their capacity to complete the project.
