The Scholarship is available to candidates who intend to enroll full-time in a Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program at the University of Sydney’s School of Chemistry. No scholarship offer will be made until the applicant has received an unconditional offer of admission, though applicants without an unconditional offer of admission may still apply and be chosen. Eligibility
hold a Masters’s degree with a significant research component, or an equivalent, or have an unconditional offer of admission for full-time study in a Masters’s by Research or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) within the School of Chemistry at the University of Sydney. Please take note that candidates without a firm admissions offer may still apply and be chosen. However, until the applicant receives an unconditional offer, no scholarship offer will be made.
Benefits
The Scholarship will provide a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney’s Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate (indexed on 1 January each year) as per the below duration:
- Up to 1.75 years for a Masters’s by Research student,
- Up to three years for a Ph.D. student with a possible six months extension.
How to Apply
Candidates must submit a finished application form, a copy of their academic transcripts, and copies of their CV in order to be considered for the Scholarship.
