Taraba State University Begins Sandwich Degree Programme Admission for 2026/2027 Session; Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its Sandwich Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic contact session. The announcement was released through the Office of the Registrar of the university.

Under the sandwich scheme, the university offers professional degree programmes leading to the award of Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LIS), and Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed.).

Entry Requirements for TSU Sandwich Degree Programme

The university has outlined two main admission entry routes:

200 Level Admission

Candidates applying for 200 Level admission must possess one of the following qualifications:

Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
Diploma
JAMB qualification with an overall merit pass or above

In addition, applicants must have at least five credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language. A JAMB Direct Entry application form is mandatory. Candidates with NCE or Diploma qualifications will spend four academic years in the programme.

100 Level Admission

Candidates seeking admission into 100 Level must have:

Five credit passes at GCE, WASC, or SSCE level, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings
An acceptable UTME cut-off mark

Application Fee and Payment Procedure

Prospective applicants are required to purchase the application form at the cost of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000.00) only.
