
Southern Delta University Post UTME and Direct Entry Form 2026/2027; Southern Delta University (SDU), Ozoro, formerly known as Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, has commenced applications for the 2026/2027 undergraduate admission exercise.
Suitably qualified candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are invited to apply for admission into the university’s degree programmes. The admission exercise covers both the Ozoro Main Campus and the Orerokpe Campus.
Direct Entry candidates who possess the required qualifications may also apply.
Who Can Apply for Southern Delta University Admission?
Candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME and scored 150 and above are eligible to apply.
Applicants must also select Southern Delta University as their first-choice institution.
Candidates who did not initially choose SDU during JAMB registration must complete a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal before admission processing can begin.
General Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
Accepted O’Level qualifications include:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- Other recognised equivalent qualifications
The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
Awaiting Result Candidates
Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply. However, the results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS before admission consideration.
Direct Entry Requirements
Direct Entry candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as:
- National Diploma (ND)
- Equivalent qualifications from recognised institutions
Applicants must have at least Upper Credit or its equivalent.
Direct Entry candidates must also satisfy the relevant O’Level requirements for their chosen programme.
