Sokoto State University Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025/2026; The management of Sokoto State University (SSU) wishes to inform all candidates who applied for admission through the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE), and chose SSU as their first choice, that the online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session will commence Monday, 11th August, 2025 and end Friday, 10th October, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- UTME Candidates: Must have scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME.
- DE Candidates: Must upload scanned copies of relevant A’level results (Diploma, NCE, IJMB, etc.) on the University portal.
- O’Level Requirement (for both UTME & DE): Minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- All candidates must have uploaded their O’level results on JAMB CAPS via https://jamb.caps.gov.ng or at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
How to Apply for SSU Post-UTME/DE Screening
- Visit the University Portal – https://portal.ssu.edu.ng
- Login using your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password.
- Click on “Update Data” to provide your active phone number and email address.
- Generate and print your screening payment invoice for ₦2,000 only (exclusive of transaction charges) containing a Monnify Payment Reference Number.
- Payment can be made at any commercial bank or online via the “Pay Now” link on the portal.
- After payment, log in again to complete your biodata, academic records, and other required details.
- Print your acknowledgment slip and payment receipt for your records.
Important Notes:
- The screening exercise is strictly online.
- No Post-UTME examination will be conducted.
- Only candidates who complete the screening process will be considered for admission.
