SLU Post-UTME/DE Form 2026/2027. Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa has opened its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening registration for eligible candidates seeking undergraduate admission.
UTME candidates must meet the O’Level and UTME score requirements for their chosen programmes, while Direct Entry candidates must meet the required qualification and score conditions.
The registration period runs from 27 July to 30 August 2026, and the screening fee is ₦2,000, excluding Remita charges. Candidates who fail to complete their registration before the deadline will not be considered for admission.

Who Can Apply for SLU Screening?
The screening exercise is open to eligible UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into Sule Lamido University for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Eligible candidates include:
- UTME candidates who selected SLU as their first-choice university.
- Direct Entry candidates who selected SLU as their first choice.
- UTME candidates who scored at least 150 and are willing to change their first choice to SLU.
Candidates who initially selected another institution must complete the required change of institution through JAMB and select a programme for which they meet the stated cut-off mark.
What Is the SLU Cut-Off Mark?
The minimum UTME cut-off mark for SLU is 150, although some programmes require a minimum score of 160.
The Direct Entry cut-off point is seven points for every programme.
Candidates should confirm the cut-off mark for their chosen course before changing their institution or completing the screening application.
How to Apply for SLU Post-UTME/DE Screening
Candidates can register through the Sule Lamido University online admission portal.
The application process is as follows:
- Visit the SLU online admission portal through the university’s website and open the admissions section.
- Select UTME or Direct Entry, depending on your admission category.
- Log in with the required details.
- Upload a recent passport-sized photograph.
- Update your applicant profile with accurate personal and academic information.
- Enter your O’Level examination details, using results from not more than two sittings.
- Upload a clear scanned copy of your SSCE statement of result.
- Direct Entry candidates should also upload their A’Level result.
- Open the Post-UTME Payment section.
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee, excluding Remita charges.
- Generate the acknowledgement slip after successful registration and payment.
- Download and print the acknowledgement slip for future use.
Registration is considered complete after the required information has been provided, payment has been made and the acknowledgement slip has been generated and printed.

After logging in, candidates should upload their passport photograph and provide the requested profile information.
All information entered should correspond with the candidate’s JAMB and academic records.
Direct Entry Login Details
Direct Entry candidates will log in using their:
- Direct Entry registration number
- State of origin
- Gender
They must also upload their passport photograph and provide their O’Level and A’Level information.

What Are the O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates?
UTME candidates must have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or an equivalent qualification.
The required credits must:
- Include English Language.
- Include Mathematics.
- Be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Meet the subject requirements for the selected programme.
Candidates must also meet the UTME cut-off mark for their chosen course.
What Are the Direct Entry Requirements?
Direct Entry candidates must meet the required O’Level conditions and possess an acceptable qualification for their chosen programme.
The stated Direct Entry qualifications include:
- National Diploma (ND): Lower Credit
- NCE: Merit
- IJMBE Advanced Level: Seven points
The Direct Entry cut-off is seven points for every programme.
Direct Entry candidates must upload both their SSCE and A’Level results during registration. The A’Level qualification should support the Direct Entry route being used for the application.

When Does SLU Screening Registration Close?
Registration will open on Monday, 27 July 2026 and close at midnight on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates must complete their applications within this period.
Candidates who fail to register before the deadline will not be considered for admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates should therefore avoid waiting until the final day to begin registration.
How Much Is the SLU Screening Fee?
The SLU Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening fee is ₦2,000.
This amount does not include Remita charges.
Candidates can make payment through:
- Commercial banks
- Debit cards
- The Remita payment platform
How Can Candidates Pay the Screening Fee?
After completing the required application details, candidates should open the Post-UTME Payment section and select their preferred payment method.
For online card payment, select Pay Now and complete the transaction using a debit card.
Candidates who prefer another payment method can select Download Payment Schedule, print the generated document and use the payment information to make payment through a commercial bank or Remita.
After successful payment, candidates should return to the application process and generate their acknowledgement slip.
What Is the SLU Acknowledgement Slip?
The acknowledgement slip is generated after the candidate completes the required registration and payment process.
Candidates should:
- Generate the slip.
- Download it.
- Print it.
- Keep it safely for future reference.
Successfully admitted candidates will be required to present the acknowledgement slip during registration.
The acknowledgement slip should not be confused with the payment receipt or transaction evidence.
What Results Must UTME Candidates Upload?
UTME candidates must enter their O’Level examination details and upload a clear scanned copy of their SSCE statement of result.
A maximum of two O’Level sittings is allowed.
The result must contain the required credits for the chosen programme, including English Language and Mathematics where required.
Candidates must also ensure that their academic credentials are correctly uploaded to their JAMB profiles.
What Results Must Direct Entry Candidates Upload?
Direct Entry candidates must upload:
- SSCE or equivalent O’Level result
- A’Level result
The A’Level qualification must support the Direct Entry qualification being used for the application.
Must Candidates Upload Their Credentials to JAMB?
Yes.
Candidates should ensure that their academic results and relevant credentials are available and correctly reflected on their JAMB profile.
Uploading documents during SLU screening does not replace the requirement to have the necessary records available on JAMB.
Candidates should check their JAMB profile before completing the screening process.
Can Candidates Change Their University or Programme?
Yes.
Candidates who need to change their selected university or programme can do so through the appropriate JAMB process within the screening period.
The stated registration period is 27 July to midnight on 30 August 2026.
Candidates changing their institution to SLU should make the university their first choice and select a programme that matches their UTME score and subject combination.
What Documents Will Admitted Candidates Need?
Successfully admitted candidates will be required to present the originals and photocopies of the relevant documents during registration.

- SLU acknowledgement slip
- Evidence of payment
- UTME result or Direct Entry registration slip
- SSCE statement of result

Are Two Passport Photographs Required?
Yes.
Admitted candidates must present two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background during registration.
Is a Certificate of Indigeneship Required?
Yes.
Successfully admitted candidates are required to present a certificate of indigeneship, including the original and a photocopy.
Can a Declaration of Age Replace a Birth Certificate?
Yes.
The stated requirements allow candidates to present either a birth certificate or declaration of age during registration.
What Happens If a Candidate Misses the Deadline?
Candidates who fail to complete the screening registration before the deadline will not be considered for admission into SLU for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The deadline is midnight on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
Candidates should also note that simply making payment does not complete the application. They must complete the registration and generate and print the acknowledgement slip.
