About the Award: The YSE program facilitates participants’ learning from leading social entrepreneurs, business professionals, and like-minded youth interested in social innovation. It expands networks for potential collaborations for societal good.
The YSE program aims to inspire, equip, and enable youth of different nationalities to initiate social enterprises (SEs) in Singapore and beyond. If you possess a social enterprise idea, this program aims to assist you in turning it into reality.

Eligibility: The program welcomes passionate young changemakers and entrepreneurs of any nationality with innovative business ideas addressing a social need. Eligibility criteria include:
- A viable business proposition addressing a social issue
- Individual commitment or a team (up to 3 members allowed)
- Age between 18 to 30 years (open to all nationalities)
Value of Award:
Accepted participants will attend a 4-day YSE Workshop in Singapore in March 2024, pitching for a chance to be shortlisted into the YSE Program. The program includes a mentorship scheme, overseas study visit, and an opportunity to pitch for funding.
Participants from overseas must cover their airfares and accommodation for the workshop. SIF covers meals and transport during the workshop. Participants are responsible for their daily transport costs. Overseas participants must cover their airport transfers.
