Rotary Yoneyama Scholarships 2025 for International Students. The Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship offers fully funded opportunities for international students to study in Japan, covering master’s and doctoral programs at APU (Asia Pacific University).

About the Scholarship:
The Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship is aimed at international students who will be enrolling in APU’s Graduate School. Applicants must apply to both APU and the scholarship organization separately.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Must not hold Japanese nationality (including dual nationality).
- Visa: Must obtain a student visa for Japan.
- Residency: Must be residing outside Japan until the program starts and have not resided in Japan for more than 31 days in total (unless due to specific conditions).
- Language Proficiency: Japanese language proficiency at least equivalent to JLPT N4 or above.
- Age: Born after April 2, 1980.
- Previous Awards: Must not have previously been a Rotary Yoneyama Scholar.
Eligible Countries:
- All countries (excluding Japan).
Award Benefits:
- Monthly Stipend:
- Master’s students: 140,000 JPY per month for two years.
- Doctoral students: 140,000 JPY per month for two years.
- Travel Expenses: Economy air travel and other related expenses reimbursed up to 250,000 JPY after arrival in Japan.
