Admission Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

  • Five O’ Level credit passes including English and Mathematics in no more than two sittings.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least a third-class in a relevant field.
  • HND with an upper credit from an accredited institution or equivalent CGPA.

Master’s Degree (M.Sc.)

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least a second-class lower (CGPA ≥ 3.00/5.00).
  • A PGD from a recognized university.
  • Other qualifications acceptable to the University Senate.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

PRACTICE PAST QUESTIONS HERE (JAMB, WAEC, NECO, POST-UTME)

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60%.
  • An M.Phil. degree in a relevant field.

Concept Note Submission

Applicants for Master’s and Ph.D. programmes must submit a Concept Note with their application:

  • Ph.D.: Two pages
  • Master’s: One page
    The note should include:
  • Theoretical background
  • Statement of the problem
  • Study objectives
  • Study relevance
  • Methodology

Programme Duration

  • PGD: Minimum of two semesters, maximum of four semesters.
  • Master’s: Minimum of three semesters, maximum of five semesters.
  • Ph.D.: Minimum of six semesters, maximum of eight semesters.

How to Apply

  1. Obtain the application form from the Postgraduate School, Rhema University, or apply online via the Rhema University Official Website.
  2. Submit completed forms to the Office of the Registrar, Rhema University.

Referee’s Report

  • Download three copies of the Referee’s Report Form from the university website.
  • Two referees should be former teachers, and one should comment on the applicant’s character.
  • Submit the reports confidentially to:
    The Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Rhema University, Nigeria, P.M.B. 7021, Aba, Abia State.

Transcript Submission

  • Download the Transcript Request Form and send it to your previous institution.
  • Transcripts must be sent to the same address above, no later than 4th March 2022.

Application Submission

Most details will be completed online. After completing the form, print and submit the following documents to the School of Postgraduate Studies:

  • NYSC Certificate (Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion)
  • Three copies of the completed application summary form
  • Relevant credentials and qualifications
  • Six passport photographs
  • Concept Note (for Master’s and Ph.D. applicants)

Ensure all documents are submitted to the School of Postgraduate Studies at Rhema University.
