Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Available Part-Time Degree Programmes
The university is offering admission into the following part-time degree programmes:
- B.A. French
- B.A. Linguistics
- B.A. Philosophy
- B.A. Religious Studies
- B.Sc. Public Administration
How to Apply for Part-Time Degree Programmes
Candidates are required to process their admission through the university online portal using their JAMB Registration Number.
Applicants who do not have a JAMB Registration Number can register using their National Identification Number (NIN).
After completing the admission process through the JAMB portal, candidates are expected to pay a non-refundable admission processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) through the university REMITA platform. Applicants should then proceed to the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) for further directives.
Entry Requirements for Part-Time Degree Programmes
Entry into 100 Level
Applicants must possess a minimum of five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
Entry into 200 Level
Candidates applying for direct entry into 200 Level must possess any of the following qualifications in addition to the required O’Level credits:
- IJMB
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
Proficiency Certificate Course (PCC)
The university also offers a Proficiency Certificate in Security and Forensic Studies.
Mode of Application
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess at least four credit passes in any of the following examinations:
- SSCE
- WAEC
- Trade Test
- NABTEB
Serving military and paramilitary officers with the required qualifications are also eligible for admission.
Duration
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters, which covers a period of six months.
Basic Certificate Course (BCC)
This programme offers a Certificate in Basic Intelligence and Detective Studies.
Mode of Application
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:
- OND
- NCE
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree
Possession of higher qualifications in any field will be considered an added advantage.
Serving military and paramilitary officers with the required qualifications are also eligible for admission.
Duration
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters, which is equivalent to six months.
Advanced Professional Course in Security and Forensic Studies

- Medical Forensic Studies
- Investigation and Intelligence Forensic Studies
- Accounting and Auditing Forensic Studies
- Cyber Security and Forensic Studies
- Legal and Litigation Forensic Studies

Membership or fellowship of recognised professional bodies will serve as an added advantage.
Serving military and paramilitary officers with the necessary qualifications are also eligible for admission.

The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters, covering a period of six months.
Executive Managerial Course in Peace, Reconciliation and Security Studies
Mode of Application
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:
- OND
- NCE
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced Professional Course Certificate
- Equivalent qualifications from recognised professional bodies
Security management experts are also eligible for admission.
Duration
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters, which lasts for six months.
