PTI Certificate Programme Admission Form 2025/2026 Now Available. The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has opened applications for its full-time Certificate Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you’re interested in General Welding or Commercial Diving (Class I & II), this is your opportunity to acquire hands-on, industry-recognised training.
Available Programmes
PTI is offering admissions into the following certificate programmes:
- General Welding Certificate
- Commercial Diving Certificate (Class I and Class II)
These programmes are delivered under PTI’s professional training division and are suitable for candidates seeking specialised technical skills.
Application Fee
- Standard application fee: ₦15,000 (non-refundable)
- Late application fee: ₦20,000
How to Apply
Follow these steps to complete your application online:
- Visit the PTI website
- Click on the Programmes Menu, then select Certificate Programmes, and click “Apply Here”
- On the sign-up page, enter your details, create a username and password, and submit
- You’ll be redirected to a Remita page – generate your RRR code
- Print the Remita page and make payment at any commercial bank
- Return to the PTI site, go to Students’ Menu, and click “Applicant Login”
- Log in with your credentials, fill out the application form, and print it
- Bring the printed application form and RRR payment slip to the screening/interview

- Application Opens: 16th June 2025
- Application Closes: 20th August 2025
- Late Registration: 21st – 24th August 2025
Entrance Test & Interview Details
- Welding Test: PTI will announce the test date soon. Candidates are advised to arrive a day early to confirm their test venue.
- Diving Interview: Dates will be communicated by PTI. All interviews take place on campus.
