THREE YEARS IN NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION, (NCE) PROGRAMMES IN VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION
(I) Business Education (Double Major) with the following options:
- Accounting education,
- Entrepreneurial Education,
- Marketing Education
- Office Technology and Management Education.
(ii) Computer Science / Integrated Science
(iii) Technical Education (Double Major) with the following options:
- Automobile Technology;
- Building Technology;
- Electrical and Electronic Technology;
- Metalwork Technology; and
- Woodwork Technology;
(iv) Integrated Science / Mathematics
(v) Computer Science / Mathematics
Entry Requirements for (i)
Minimum of 5 Credit in ‘O’ level GCE & SSCE of WAEC, SSCE of NECO or NABTEBobtained at not more than two sittings. Credit in English Language, Mathematics and any other three from the following: Economics, Principles of Accounts/Book Keeping, Government/History/Civic Education, Business Methods, Introduction to Business Management, Office Practice, ICT / Data Processing / Computer Studies, Geography, Commerce, Marketing, Secretarial Duties.
All applicants are to undergo a selection interview.
Entry Requirements for (ii)
Minimum of 5 Credit in ‘O’ level GCE & SSCE of WAEC, SSCE of NECO or NABTEBobtained at not more than two sittings. Credit in English Language, Mathematics and any other three from the following: Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science and General Science / Integrated Science. a
Entry Requirements for (iii)
‘O’ level GCE & SSCE of WAEC, SSCE of NECO, or NTC of NABTEBobtained at no more than two sittings, with a minimum of 5 Credits. Credit for mathematics, English language, and any other three of the following: Technical drawing, applied electricity, fundamental electricity, automobile mechanics, woodworking, metalworking, building construction, physics, chemistry, and biological/agricultural science.
OR
Candidates from Technical Colleges with WAEC Technical Certificate or equivalent in Technical Trades plus Federal Craft Certificate (FCC) with at least credits in five (5) academic subjects including: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Technical Trades / Subjects, English Language.
Entry Requirements for (iv)
Minimum of 5 Credits in ‘O’ level GCE & SSCE of WAEC, SSCE of NECO or NABTEBobtained at not more than two sittings. Credit in English Language, Mathematics and any other three from the following: Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science, Chemistry, Physics and General Science / Integrated Science.
Entry Requirements for (v)
5 credits minimum at the “O” level GCE and SSCE of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEBobtained in no more than two sittings English language, math, physics, and any other two of chemistry, biology, agricultural science, health science, or geography, as well as credit in all four of those disciplines. The subjects that make up the combination of the course that the candidates want to provide must make up two of the credits.
