OOU SUG update on Graduates’ NYSC Pre-mobilization issues
The Union’s Vice President and Welfare Director held discussions with the Dean of Students’ Affairs (DSA) to resolve these challenges and explore potential solutions.
The DSA clarified that NYSC Mobilization occurs in batches, with each batch accommodating a specific number of graduates. Graduates whose names are not included in the initial batch will be considered in subsequent ones.
During the meeting, the DSA emphasized that the payment for NYSC Pre-mobilization is a one-time affair. Graduates who have made the payment and are not listed in the first batch need not worry or assume there’s another payment required. He advised graduates to retain their receipts or any evidence of payment.
