OAUTHC 2024/2025 admission into school of community health; Applications are now open for admission into the School of Community Health for the 2024/2025 academic session at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife.

The training programs, which will run for either one or two calendar years, will commence in September 2024, leading to the award of a Higher Diploma in Community Health.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess either the West African School Certificate/GCE “O” Level or Senior Secondary School Certificate (NECO) with five credit level passes at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FOR ONE (1) CALENDAR YEAR PROGRAM:
In addition to the qualifications above, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Qualified as a Community Health Extension Worker.
- Possess a First Degree in Community Health Science, Health Education, Public Health, or HND in Community Health.
- Registered with the Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess a current practicing license.
- PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FOR TWO (2) CALENDAR YEARS PROGRAM:
In addition to the qualifications above, candidates must meet any of the following requirements:
- Diploma in Community Health.
- Community Health Extension Worker Certificate with five years of experience.
- Registered with the Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess a current practicing license.
(B) WRITTEN TEST AND ORAL INTERVIEW:
Admission selection will be based on candidates’ performance in a Competitive Written Test and Oral Interview scheduled for Monday, 8th, and Tuesday, 9th July 2024, respectively. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and practicing licenses to the examination center.
(C) METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Application forms are available at the School of Community Health, Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, starting from Monday, 5th February 2024, at a cost of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only.
Payment should be made into the OAUTHC School Account via the REMITA PLATFORM (Account Number: 0280190665014, GIFMIS code: 1000277586) through any Commercial bank, with the purpose of payment indicated as “Admission Form into School of Community Health.” The school should present payment evidence to collect the admission form.
(D) CLOSING DATE:
Completed application forms, endorsed by sponsors and accompanied by photocopies of relevant credentials, should be submitted to the School of Community Health, Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, not later than Friday, 28th June 2024.
