💡 Tips for Locally-Trained Graduates

  1. NIN is Mandatory:
    You must have a National Identification Number (NIN) to register online.
  2. Fresh or Returning?
    • If this is your first time, click “Fresh Registration.”
    • If you were deployed in a previous batch but didn’t report to camp, click “Revalidation.”
    • If you started registration but didn’t complete it, simply click “Login Here” to continue.
  3. Facial Capture Requirement:
    A webcam will be used for passport capture—be sure to dress appropriately and avoid blurry images.
  4. No Proxy Thumbprinting:
    Thumbprint only by yourself. Proxy entries will be rejected.
  5. Your Official Data Matters:
    • Your Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, and Course of Study will appear on your Certificate of National Service or Exemption.
    • These CANNOT be corrected after camp registration.
  6. Correcting Personal Details:
    You can request corrections to your:
    • Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Course of Study
    • Qualification
    • Class of Degree
      Use your dashboard for all updates.
  7. Special Cases:
    • Military personnel: Indicate your status and upload relevant documents.
    • Married women: Upload marriage certificate and relevant documents for marital concession.
    • People with disabilities or health conditions: Make sure to indicate and upload necessary documents.
  8. Monitor Your Registration:
    Keep an eye on your registration progress to avoid unnecessary delays or errors.

🌍 Tips for Foreign-Trained Graduates

  1. Avoid Multiple Accounts:
    Register only once using correct personal details as they appear on your certificates.
  2. Document Uploads:
    Upload original copies of all required documents. SSCE results must be 4 years old or more.
  3. Thumbprinting in Nigeria Only:
    You can register from anywhere, but biometric thumbprinting must be done in Nigeria before heading to camp.
  4. Evaluation Letter Requirement:
    If your institution hasn’t been evaluated by Nigeria’s Ministry of Education, visit their Abuja office to obtain an Evaluation Letter. Submit this to NYSC HQ in Abuja.
  5. Pre-Camp Physical Verification:
    During registration, select a center for your physical document verification. You must appear in person with:
    • Degree certificate
    • Transcript
    • Travel documents
  6. Camp Documents:
    If verified, print your Clearance Slip and take it to camp with the original documents.
  7. Translation & Exemptions:
    • If your certificate isn’t in English, bring a translated version.
    • If you’re exempted from service, collect your Exemption Certificate at NYSC HQ, Abuja.
    • Those excluded from service can print their Exclusion Letter online.

    Expect to pay between ₦5,000 – ₦6,000 for cyber café registration services, depending on your location.
  • Check Senate list for verification :make sure your name appears on the Senate-approved list for NYSC mobilization.
