This was said by the university’s vice chancellor, professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed when he recently hosted the Association of Nigeria Community Health Workers and their counterparts in health information management in his office.
The addition of Health Information Sciences, according to Professor Suleiman, will complement the three previously approved community health programs that the university has already approved to start in the 2023 academic session and will further enhance the potential of the upcoming College of Medical and Health Sciences.
The chairman of the Board of Community Health Workers, Mr. Sule Toma Galadima, and the secretary, Mallam Bashir Idris, each gave separate responses in which they thanked the Vice-Chancellor for the opportunity and audience and assured him that they would work diligently within the allotted time frame to help the University reach its goal.
