Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has achieved a significant milestone with the National Universities Commission (NUC) granting approval for 18 new academic programmes. These additions include both postgraduate and undergraduate courses and are set to commence in the 2024/2025 academic session at the university’s main campus.

Overview of the Approval

The NUC communicated its approval through a letter dated 11th December 2024, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of NSUK. The letter, signed by the Acting Director of Academic Planning, Abubakar M. Girei, affirmed that the newly approved programmes would be offered on a full-time basis.

This expansion underscores NSUK’s dedication to enhancing academic opportunities and meeting the evolving demands of higher education.

  • Ph.D. Money and Capital Markets
  • Ph.D. Development Finance
  • M.Sc. Finance
  • Ph.D. Finance

Approved Undergraduate Programmes

NSUK will introduce the following undergraduate programmes:

  • B. Environmental Health Science
  • B.A. History and Diplomatic Studies
  • B.Ed. Early Childhood Education
  • B.Ed. Primary Education Studies

Additional Undergraduate Programmes
