NNPC-SNEPCo National University Scholarship for Nigerians 2024

NNPC-SNEPCo National University Scholarship for Nigerians 2024; The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCO), in collaboration with its Joint Venture (JV) partners and under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), invites applications from qualified Nigerian students for the 2024 NNPC-SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be a Nigerian citizen.
Be currently in their second year of full-time study in a Nigerian university accredited by the NUC.
Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5.0-grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity in the Oil and Gas industry, national or international.

Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must:

Submit their applications via the scholarship portal before the specified deadline.
Meet the eligibility criteria to be invited for a monitored computer-based test.
Only the top 10 candidates from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory will be shortlisted for academic verification prior to scholarship offer.
Maintain a minimum of 3.5 CGPA per session, in a 5.0-grade system or the equivalent, to sustain the award.

Application Instructions

Prepare Required Documents:
- Recent passport-sized photograph (JPEG format, not more than 200 kilobytes).
- University or JAMB Admission Letter.
- UTME Result.
- O’ Level Result(s).
- ‘A’ Level / OND / NCE Result(s) as applicable.
- Letter of Identification from State of Origin.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average after the first year (results of at least 2 academic semesters).
- Government Official Declaration Form (download from https://dragnetscreening.ng/files/SNEPCoGOform.pdf).
Submit Your Application:
- Visit NNPC-SNEPCo Scholarship Portal.
- Click on “Apply Now” and then “Register Now” to create an account.
- Activate your account via the link sent to your email.
- Log in to the scholarship site and upload your information and required documents.
- Download, fill, and upload the signed Government Official Declaration Form.
- Ensure the name used in the application matches the names on all documentation. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise.
- Ensure all uploaded documents are clear and accurate.
- Submit your application.
- You will receive a confirmation email and SMS.
- Return to the scholarship portal, download your profile, and have your Head of Department sign it.
- Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile for verification.
