NILEST 2023/2024 Post-UTME Screening exercise; Important Notice to Candidates Choosing NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF LEATHER AND SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY (NILEST) as First Choice in the 2023 JAMB:

Candidates who selected NILEST as their first choice for the 2023 JAMB are hereby notified to participate in the screening exercise, scheduled as follows:
Date: Monday 8th to Friday 26th January 2024
Venue: Registration Office
Time: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Candidates are required to bring the following documents for the screening exercise:
- Original Documents
- Photocopy of Documents
- One Passport-sized Photograph
- JAMB Result Slip
- Certificate of Medical Fitness from a Government Hospital
- Letter of Recommendation
Admission into the National Diploma (ND) Programmes is solely through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) with a minimum score of 120 in the 2023 UTME relevant subjects. Additionally, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
i. NILEST must be the first choice on JAMB.
ii. Upload O’level result on the JAMB portal.
iii. Attain a minimum score of 120 in the 2023 JAMB result in relevant UTME subjects.
iv. Possess five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects.
Furthermore, it is announced that NILEST now offers HND SOFTWARE AND WEB DEVELOPMENT as a course of study due to the unbundling of HND Computer Science into various specializations. Prospective candidates and the general public are advised to take note of this development.
